Needless to say all 3 bands were sick. After The Burial are a pretty big inspiration for me because of the technical beatdowns and the song grooves. Suicide Silence’s new stuff sounds incredible can’t wait for Black Crown. There was a couple of haters but no big deal, Mitch can brush it off well. They played Big Chocolate’s ‘No Time To Bleed’ sample which was incredible, and i saw a dude wearing a “What The Fuck Is Commissioner” shirt too. I got Dan Kenny’s pick, he was pretty shot.

Gerard Way (Young)
Started his career writing comics, witnessed the 9/11 attacks and realised that he was wasting his life when he could be out there helping people. Started a band, wrote some amazing songs and toured. Over came drugs, alcohol, depression and suicidal issues. Came home wrote some more songs and his own graphic novel.
He fascinates me as a person because hes overcome so many problems in his life and accomplished so many amazing things. Just like me now, he was an introverted guy who spent all his time indoors drawing and writing yet he became an inspiration to so many kids.
‘Bullets’ and ‘Three Cheers’ for me are masterpieces. ‘Our Lady Of Sorrows’ is my favourite song of all time and ‘Three Cheers’ raised me as a teenager. The Umbrella Academy is a fantastic award winning graphic novel.
